Slotegrator Integration Guide

This guide explains how to connect an iGaming platform to Slotegrator, verify the connection, import games from Slotegrator, and publish those games into the main casino catalog.

The process has four main stages:

  1. Configure Slotegrator access credentials.
  2. Verify that the credentials work by checking merchant limits.
  3. Synchronize games from the Slotegrator API into the local Slotegrator game database.
  4. Link synchronized Slotegrator games into the main game catalog.

The integration is not complete until the games are linked into the main catalog. Synchronizing games only imports them into the Slotegrator staging database; it does not automatically make them available to players.

Before You Start

Make sure the operator has:

  • Admin panel access.
  • Slotegrator merchant credentials.
  • Confirmation that the merchant account is active on the correct Slotegrator environment.
  • A list of expected game providers and currencies from Slotegrator.
  • Permission to update provider settings and run provider synchronization jobs.

Slotegrator credentials are configured under the Slotegrator provider in the admin panel.

Open:

Admin Panel -> Providers -> Slotegrator

The Slotegrator provider page contains the following tabs:

  • General
  • Games
  • Tags
  • Catalog Link
  • Limits
  • Jackpots
  • Free Spins
  • Free Vouchers
  • Validation

For the basic game catalog integration, the required tabs are General, Limits, Games, and Catalog Link.

1. Get Access Credentials From Slotegrator

The first step is to request API access credentials from Slotegrator for the operator account.

At minimum, the operator needs:

  • Base URL
  • Merchant ID
  • Merchant Key

The operator should also confirm:

  • Whether the credentials are for staging or production.
  • Whether the API base URL is the correct URL for that environment.
  • Whether the merchant account has the required game providers enabled.
  • Which currencies are enabled for each provider.
  • Whether the platform IP address must be whitelisted by Slotegrator.
  • Whether callback or webhook URLs must be configured on the Slotegrator side.

The credentials are used by the platform to sign requests to the Slotegrator API. If either Merchant ID or Merchant Key is missing, Slotegrator API calls will fail.

2. Configure the Slotegrator Provider

Open:

Admin Panel -> Providers -> Slotegrator -> General

In the General tab, fill in the Slotegrator configuration fields.

Provider Enabled

Enable the provider if games should be available through Slotegrator.

The provider must be active before catalog linking can publish games correctly. If the provider is disabled, the catalog link job cannot use it as the active game provider.

Base URL

Enter the Slotegrator API base URL.

Use the exact environment URL provided by Slotegrator. Do not include a trailing endpoint such as /games or /limits; the platform adds API paths automatically.

Example format:

https://example-slotegrator-api.com/api/v1

Merchant ID

Enter the merchant identifier issued by Slotegrator.

This value is sent with signed API requests as the merchant identity.

Merchant Key

Enter the merchant signing key issued by Slotegrator.

When editing an existing configuration, the field can be left empty to keep the current saved key. Enter a new value only when the key must be created or replaced.

Timeout

Set the API timeout in seconds.

The allowed range is:

1-120 seconds

The default value is usually 10. Increase it only if the Slotegrator API is known to respond slowly or the environment requires a longer timeout.

Verify SSL

Keep Verify SSL enabled for production.

This option controls TLS certificate verification for Slotegrator API requests. It should only be disabled for a temporary test environment with a known certificate issue.

After entering the settings, save the provider.

Expected result:

  • The provider saves successfully.
  • The page shows a successful provider update message.
  • The Slotegrator provider remains active.

3. Verify Credentials in the Limits Tab

After saving the credentials, verify that the platform can authenticate with Slotegrator.

Open:

Admin Panel -> Providers -> Slotegrator -> Limits

The Limits tab loads merchant limits directly from the Slotegrator API.

It displays two sections:

  • Merchant limits
  • Merchant freespin limits

Merchant Limits

The Merchant limits table shows:

  • Amount
  • Currency
  • Providers

This confirms which providers are available to the merchant for each currency.

Use this table to check that:

  • Slotegrator credentials are valid.
  • The Slotegrator account is accessible from the platform.
  • Expected currencies are present.
  • Expected game providers are listed.

Merchant Freespin Limits

The Merchant freespin limits table shows:

  • Quantity
  • Currency
  • Providers

This section is used to confirm freespin availability for providers and currencies. It is useful for bonus and promotional setups, but it is not required to complete the basic game catalog import.

How to Interpret the Result

If limits load successfully and expected providers are visible, the credentials are working.

If the tab shows No limits found, the API request completed but Slotegrator did not return available limits for the merchant. Confirm the merchant setup with Slotegrator before continuing.

If the tab shows Failed to load merchant limits, the platform could not load limits from Slotegrator. Check:

  • Base URL.
  • Merchant ID.
  • Merchant Key.
  • SSL verification setting.
  • Network access from the API server to Slotegrator.
  • Slotegrator merchant account status.
  • Any IP whitelist requirements.

Do not continue to game synchronization until the Limits tab loads successfully.

4. Confirm Provider and Currency Availability

Before importing games, compare the provider list in Limits with the commercial setup agreed with Slotegrator.

For each required provider, confirm:

  • The provider appears in the Providers column.
  • The provider is available for the expected currency.
  • The currency exists in the platform's local currency list.

This matters because catalog linking uses Slotegrator limits to attach currencies to games. If a provider is not present in the limits response, games from that provider may still be imported from Slotegrator, but currency linking can be skipped during catalog publication.

For example:

  • If Provider A is available for EUR, games from Provider A can be linked to the local EUR currency if EUR exists in the platform.
  • If Provider B is missing from limits, games from Provider B may not receive currency links during catalog linking.
  • If a currency is returned by Slotegrator but does not exist locally, the catalog link run can report missing limit currencies.

5. Synchronize Games From Slotegrator

After credentials and limits are verified, import games from Slotegrator.

Open:

Admin Panel -> Providers -> Slotegrator -> Games

The Games tab contains:

  • Current synchronization status.
  • Sync now button.
  • Cancel button.
  • Refresh button.
  • Search field.
  • Games table.
  • Pagination controls.

Click:

Sync now

This starts a Slotegrator games synchronization run.

What the Games Sync Does

The sync job calls the Slotegrator /games API endpoint and imports games into the local Slotegrator database.

Imported data includes:

  • Slotegrator game UUID.
  • Game name.
  • Provider.
  • Type.
  • Technology.
  • Main image URL.
  • Mobile support.
  • Lobby support.
  • Freespin support.
  • Table support.
  • Labels and parameters.
  • Tags.
  • Additional images.
  • Related games.

The imported records are stored in the Slotegrator game tables, including:

  • slotegrator_games
  • slotegrator_game_tags
  • slotegrator_game_images
  • slotegrator_related_games

The sync updates existing Slotegrator games by UUID. It also marks games as inactive when they are no longer returned by the Slotegrator API.

Sync Statuses

The sync run can have the following statuses:

  • Queued
  • Running
  • Cancelling
  • Cancelled
  • Failed
  • Completed

While a run is active, the page shows progress:

progress percent · processed items / total items

The page refreshes the active run automatically. When the run finishes, the game list is refreshed.

When to Cancel a Sync

Use Cancel only when the current sync should be stopped.

Cancellation is not instant. The job checks for cancellation between API pages, then marks the run as cancelled.

How to Review Imported Games

After the sync completes, use the table in the Games tab to review imported records.

The table shows:

  • ID
  • UUID
  • Name
  • Provider
  • Type
  • Technology
  • Active

Use search to find games by:

  • UUID.
  • Name.
  • Provider.

Expected result:

  • The sync status is Completed.
  • Games are visible in the Games tab.
  • Expected providers are present.
  • Imported games are marked Enabled unless Slotegrator no longer returns them.

Important: at this point, games are imported into the Slotegrator database only. They are not necessarily visible in the main casino catalog yet.

After games are synchronized, publish them into the main game catalog.

Open:

Admin Panel -> Providers -> Slotegrator -> Catalog Link

Click:

Run catalog link

The catalog link job reads active games from the local Slotegrator game database and creates or updates records in the main catalog.

During the run, the platform:

  • Reads active slotegrator_games.
  • Resolves the active Slotegrator game provider.
  • Loads Slotegrator limits to build provider-to-currency mappings.
  • Creates missing publishers from Slotegrator provider names.
  • Creates missing categories from Slotegrator game types.
  • Creates missing games in the main games table.
  • Assigns the Slotegrator provider to linked games.
  • Links games to publishers.
  • Links games to categories.
  • Links games to currencies where the Slotegrator limits response allows it.
  • Stores the relationship between the Slotegrator game record and the main catalog game.
  • Queues image synchronization for game images when needed.

The main catalog is what the frontend uses for game listings and game launch flows.

Matching Behavior

Catalog link matches games by normalized game name.

The normalization removes a trailing Mobile suffix from Slotegrator game names. This prevents separate mobile variants from creating unnecessary duplicate main catalog records when they represent the same game.

If a matching game already exists in the main catalog, the job can update its provider or publisher relationship. If no matching game exists, it creates a new catalog game.

The Catalog Link tab shows summary counters for the selected run:

  • Created Games
  • Linked Games
  • Created Publishers
  • Created Categories
  • Skipped

The recent runs table shows:

  • Run ID.
  • Status.
  • Progress.
  • Processed count.
  • Failed count.
  • Start time.

Use these values to confirm the result of the publication step.

Expected Result

After a successful catalog link run:

  • Status is Completed.
  • Linked Games is greater than zero when active Slotegrator games exist.
  • New games appear in the main game catalog.
  • New publishers appear if Slotegrator returned provider names that did not exist before.
  • New categories appear if Slotegrator returned game types that did not exist before.
  • Slotegrator games are connected to main catalog games through their catalog game ID.

If active Slotegrator games exist but Linked Games remains zero, review the run error and skipped items.

7. Verify the Main Game Catalog

After catalog linking completes, verify that games are available in the main catalog.

Open:

Admin Panel -> Games

Check that:

  • New games from Slotegrator are present.
  • Game names look correct.
  • Publisher values are correct.
  • Categories are assigned.
  • The Slotegrator provider is assigned.
  • Games have expected currencies.
  • Games have images or image synchronization is still in progress.
  • Games that should be visible are active in the catalog.

Then check the player-facing frontend:

  • Open the casino lobby or relevant category page.
  • Search for one of the imported games.
  • Confirm the game card appears as expected.
  • Start a test session if the environment allows it.

8. Run Slotegrator Validation

The Validation tab is used for Slotegrator integrator self-validation.

Open:

Admin Panel -> Providers -> Slotegrator -> Validation

Validation requires a recent real game session. The admin panel expects a successful real session opened within the last 15 minutes.

The tab shows:

  • Whether validation is currently eligible.
  • The latest eligible session.
  • Player.
  • Game.
  • Currency.
  • Session status.
  • Latest validation result.
  • Validation log.

When eligible, click:

Run Validation

After validation completes, use Save File to download the validation result as JSON.

This step is useful when Slotegrator requests evidence that the integration can open sessions and complete their validation flow.

Troubleshooting

Provider Does Not Save

Check that required fields are filled:

  • Base URL.
  • Merchant ID.
  • Merchant Key, unless an existing key is already saved.
  • Timeout.
  • Verify SSL.

If editing an existing provider, the merchant key field can be left empty to keep the saved key.

Limits Fail to Load

If Limits shows Failed to load merchant limits, check:

  • The API base URL is correct.
  • The merchant ID is correct.
  • The merchant key is correct.
  • The merchant account is active.
  • The server can reach Slotegrator.
  • SSL verification is compatible with the API certificate.
  • Slotegrator has whitelisted the platform IP address if required.

The Limits tab is the fastest way to confirm whether credentials work. Do not proceed to sync until limits load successfully.

Expected Provider Is Missing From Limits

If a provider is missing:

  • Confirm the provider is enabled in the Slotegrator merchant account.
  • Confirm the provider is enabled for the expected currency.
  • Ask Slotegrator to confirm the merchant's provider list.
  • Refresh the Limits tab after Slotegrator updates the account.

Catalog currency linking depends on the providers returned by limits.

Games Sync Fails

If the Games sync status becomes Failed, check the last_error shown in the sync status panel.

Common causes:

  • Slotegrator provider config is missing.
  • Merchant credentials are invalid.
  • Slotegrator /games API returns an error.
  • Network timeout.
  • API response is unavailable or incomplete.

After correcting the issue, run Sync now again.

Games Sync Completes but No Games Are Found

Check:

  • Whether the Slotegrator merchant account has games enabled.
  • Whether the provider list in Limits is empty.
  • Whether Slotegrator returned games for the selected environment.
  • Whether the search filter in the Games tab is hiding records.

Clear the search field and refresh the list.

Games Are Imported but Not Visible to Players

Game sync alone does not publish games to the main catalog.

Run:

Providers -> Slotegrator -> Catalog Link -> Run catalog link

Then check:

  • The catalog link run completed.
  • The games exist in the main Games section.
  • The games are active.
  • The games have currency links.
  • The frontend category or lobby includes those games.

Check the run's last_error.

Common causes:

  • Slotegrator provider is disabled.
  • Slotegrator provider config is missing.
  • Limits cannot be loaded.
  • Required local currencies are missing.
  • Database constraints prevent duplicate names or slugs.
  • Image sync jobs fail after catalog records are created.

If the provider is disabled, enable it in the General tab and run catalog link again.

Currency sync can be skipped when:

  • The Slotegrator game provider name is empty.
  • The provider is not present in the Slotegrator limits response.
  • The limits response returns currencies that do not exist locally.

To fix this:

  • Check Limits.
  • Confirm the provider appears for the expected currency.
  • Add missing local currencies if required.
  • Run catalog link again.

Validation Cannot Be Run

Validation requires a recent real game session opened within the last 15 minutes.

If validation is not eligible:

  • Open a real Slotegrator game session.
  • Return to the Validation tab.
  • Click Refresh.
  • Run validation once the session appears as eligible.

Complete Integration Flow

Use this sequence when connecting a new Slotegrator account:

  1. Request Slotegrator credentials.
  2. Configure the Slotegrator provider in General.
  3. Enable the provider.
  4. Open Limits.
  5. Confirm limits, providers, and currencies load successfully.
  6. Open Games.
  7. Run Sync now.
  8. Wait for the games sync to complete.
  9. Review imported Slotegrator games.
  10. Open Catalog Link.
  11. Run Run catalog link.
  12. Wait for catalog linking to complete.
  13. Check the main Games catalog.
  14. Confirm frontend visibility.
  15. Launch a test game.
  16. Run validation if required.

After these steps are complete, Slotegrator games are connected, imported, published into the catalog, and ready for operational testing.
